Every home comes with its unique set of challenges. Here are some general guidelines to consider before choosing a Fix and Flip:
- Avoid homes on busy streets; parkways are OK
- Consider hiring an interior and/or landscape designer
- Exterior appearances can be improved, but beware of major changes
- Big trees are an asset
- If there are serious structural issues, your purchase price should be low enough to justify any major repairs
- Have a practical budget going in and stick to it
- Know in advance your expected selling price
- If you´re planning to do the work yourself, know your limitations and hire good "fill-in" contractors
